Dr. Jaqua Lewis-Hunte is the current president of the Florida Council for Exceptional Children (Florida CEC) and principal of Suncoast Christian Academy in West Palm Beach, Florida. An experienced special education teacher with a demonstrated history of working in the education management industry, Dr. Lewis-Hunte got her bachelor's degree in special education from Florida State University and received a Doctor of Education (EdD) focused in Educational Leadership and Administration from Lynn University. Prior to becoming Florida CEC President, Dr. Lewis-Hunte served as vice president of Florida State University's CEC Student Chapter and president of the Palm Beach Chapter of CEC.
