DADD Para-Educator of the Year

This award recognizes exceptional paraprofessionals working in some capacity with students who have autism, intellectual disability, or other developmental disabilities.
Para-educators may be nominated for this award by their peers, teachers, administrators, parents, or other professionals. A letter of nomination should be sent to the Awards Chair. Selection criteria include: (a) Currently working in an educational setting full or part-time, (b) Serving students with intellectual disability and/or autism, and (c) Exemplifying the best in supporting the education of students with autism and/or intellectual or developmental disabilities. Nominees do NOT have to be a member of DADD or CEC

- While not mandatory (except for Burton Blatt which requires at least two nominations), we highly encourage multiple nominations for each nominee
- All nominations due by 11:59pm Eastern time on September 24
- Award winners will be notified in mid-October and awards will be formally presented at the DADD conference in January
